I created C.Rock Web Design in 2007 with the purpose to providewebsitedesign services for local businesses. My main focus is onsmaller agricultural businesses that will benefit from the added marketing that websites can provide. Each design is custome-tailored to the individual business in order to justly represent its personality. This is a business that I enjoy doing, from the ongoing learning to the designing and building to the clientele relations. Lacking a degree in this field, I strive to do my own independent learning about the various aspects of webdesign, in order to provide as professional services as possible, without being a "professional" per se. It is my interest to see that the websites I build are a useful tool and worthwhile investment for my clients. I pride myself in providing prompt, friendly, and helpful customer service.

How I got started in web design...
In 2004, I took two basic webdesign courses provided at my highschool as a junior and loved it. In 2005, I did an independent advanced study to broaden my experience with the design software and created my first comprehensive website for my family's upland dog kennel. |
Why I formed a business...
As a sophomore, I left home to study Zoology at Oregon State University. My main career goal is now to become an attorney. I needed funds to pay for college, and a new business seemed like a perfect fit for me- flexible hours and (semi) steady work that keeps me interested. |
My other interests...
My attention is on agricultural businesses because those are where a lot of my interests lay. My family has a small dog breeding kennel called Rock Llewellin Setters, and we use our setters for upland hunting. I am the kennel director and have been in charge of much of the business for almost five years. My other interests include horseback riding, landscaping, outdoor activities, literature, baking, music, and ranching. |
